  Totally dishonest and absolute rip off. Either that or the franchisee - Barry - and his mechanics are completely incompetent at what they do.
  
  Initially quoted me $1,300 for a log book service (75,000 kms - very similar to 60,000 kms - no major repair/replacement) and to replace worn front brake pads and brake discs. I ended up paying $1,000 and was guaranteed for their workmanship.
  
  Less than a week later, there is a constant grinding/groaning noise when I apply the brakes. I went back to have the noise fixed AT LEAST HALF A DOZEN TIMES (probably more like 10 or 12 times so I have lost count) over a 6-7 month period. And each time I took the car back, the noise would come back after a few days.
  
  The very last time I was there, I said I want a refund if they can't make the noise go away.
  
  It was explained to me that the noise is coming from the contact between the new brake pads and the new brake discs they have put on. I was told that the new brake pads and new brake discs they ordered may have been faulty and so they machined the NEW brake discs to try and make the noise go away. They even ordered and put on another set of new brake pads and new brake discs in case the first ones were a manufacturing defect.
  
  A week later, I called to say the noise is back and I want my refund. I was told the noise isn't coming from the brake pads and brake discs. He said it is obviously something else that the naked eye can't see (eg. hubs or bearings).
  
  He mentioned that in addition to the $1,000 I have already paid, it would cost me more money to have the hubs and/or bearings replaced.
  
  So much for the effort and time to keep going back there.
  
  Pathetic. Very Disappointed.
