  Very disappointing and poor business practices.
  I have a large range of Hikoki tools, I also ordered two more tools this allows me to claim a free battery.
  Well I thought it would be easy, I brought both tools from Total Tools Albury but Hikoki for some reason have it down as two different stores. Do not know why but they are using it as an excuses not to process the redemption. Just seeing if someone out there is having the same issue. The one star is not for the tool quality but what I have given them for their business practices.

  Searched internet for a service centre for Hitachi and Hikoki / Hitachi in Seven Hills came up as my closest from Dural. I went out and pushed the service buzzer and a lady came out and gave me a business card and said I need to take it to The Rewind Specialists 2 km down the road. After 3.3 km in the pouring rain, I arrived to this dodgy looking out of the way shop (see photo). Went to the door and it was closed at midday. I went home soaking wet and called service centre who said I didn't know they were closed and I asked why does your website give information that Hikoki will service when Hikoki will not and she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to Jennifer and when I explained I was hung up on, she went to investigate then came back and hung up on my too. I called customer service and spoke to Eddie. He was wonderful and apologised for the incompetency of the service centre. He explained that the service manager had left. Eddie has arranged for the repair to be collected from Hardware and General in Dural, saving me another wasted day.

  BUYER BEWARE! Hikoki Australia refuse to warrant any repair if the item is bought from an online shop (ebay) and not one of there "authorised dealers".
  Bought a new cordless drill from Ebay 3 months ago and it has failed. It had bad smell coming from the motor and no longer works at all. Called hikoki and was told they would not touch it because it was bought from ebay. Very dissapointed to say the least as have been using only Hitachi / Hikoki products for over 10 years.

  Sent grinder in for warranty repair . After waiting 2 weeks I rang to check how it was going and how much longer it would be. They told me it would be at least 2 months because waiting for parts from overseas. Warranty department was rude to me and told me they had no intentions of helping and told me to go buy a new 1 when i asked them what my small business was supposed to do for a grinder. I only bought hikoki because i have a Hitachi Grider that has gone strong for over 30 years. Obviously quality isn't the same as my grinder wasn't even a year old. I'll take that warranty department persons advice and buy another 1 but it won't be hikoki and I'll never buy hikoki again.

  Terrible! The nail gun issues they just can’t repair and will not refund! From day 1 bought off the shelf 2 brad guns do the exact same can’t sink nails in pine! And also will block you if you dare say anything negative on their socials!

  Very happy with the back up service from Hitachi and will recommend. Have had both drill and impact driver replaced within the 3 year warranty period without Hitachi trying to weasel out of it. Good tools, good warranty and good service from the service guys at Seven Hills!
